International Day of People with Disabilities

International Day of People with Disabilities

3rd December

During the annual celebration of People with Disabilities, the 2020 theme “Not all Disabilities are Visible’ focuses on spreading awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disabilities.

Disabilities such as mental illness, chronic pain or fatigue, sight or hearing impairments, diabetes, brain injuries, neurological disorders, learning difficulties and cognitive dysfunctions, are not immediately apparent.

Let’s come together as a community to acknowledge their achievements and contributions to society, and remove the barriers for all people living with disability, both visible and invisible.
