Dr Cansdale has been attending Gatton twice a month for many years. He consults and performs surgery as well as endoscopy in Toowoomba for the people of Gatton and the Lockyer Valley. He is a Fellow of both the Australian and English College of Surgeons as well as the Gastroenterological Society of Australia. His experience includes over 15,000 gastroscopies and colonoscopies, over 5,000 intra-abdominal operations (gallbladders, appendectomies, bowel resections, hernias, and testicular operations), mastectomies, thyroidectomies, varicose vein surgery, and skin cancer surgery. He operates at St. Vincent’s Hospital, St. Andrew’s Hospital as well as the Toowoomba Base Hospital (public patients only). He tries to maintain a low complication rate and a moderate fee structure for patients.
After working as a GP in Metropolitan Practices in Brisbane , Dr Kumar did Physician training followed by Dermatology training at the Royal Brisbane and Mater Hospitals. He also spent one year as a Specialist Registrar in Ireland Areas of interest include Paediatric Dermatology , Psychocutaneous Dermatology , General Adult Dermatology , Ethnic Dermatology , Hair biology and Transplant and Geriatric Dermatology including Nursing Home visits upon request by fellow GPs.Dr Kumar’s work covers skin cancer management and diagnosis, treatment of common skin conditions including acne, psoriasis and eczema. Dr Kumar does not deliver cosmetic dermatology services.

Mandeep Singh provides expert physiotherapy and related services to the Locker Valley people with a wide range of experience including; acute care, private practice, sports injury management and aged care. Dion has been practicing as a registered physiotherapist for over 20years. The last 6 years have been here in Queensland between Toowoomba and Laidley in private practice and Aged Care. Dion is registered with the Allied Health Practitioner Regulation Agency ( AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association(APAM) both of which require Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for annual registration . Dion has a “hands on” physiotherapy approach supplementing treatment with electrotherapy; exercise therapy and dry needling as required. All treatments are preceded by an appropriate assessment. Physiotherapy treatment covers all neuro-musculo-skeletal conditions and cardio-respiratory conditions. As a first line clinician no referral is usually necessary, however a referral from a Doctor is required for DVA; Work cover and CTP claims. Dion accepts bulk bill(EPC) referrals and has Eftpos/Hiccaps facilities available for private paying clients. Dion is available at the Laidley Professional Centre on Mondays ;Wednesdays and Fridays.
